With the exception of the 1960’s legs the entire structure of this regal upcycle has been made from the original crate. The One Six Zero
The One Six Zero
Stripped bare as a new born baby, re-foamed, re-padded and re-pinned this baby was ready for the very finest set of tailored clothes it had ever worn. Every segment of the patchwork fabric must be hand cut, orientated around the work bench countless times like a giant three dimensional puzzle until the exact combination presents its self. Then sized, measured and re cut by hand. Each segment is then sewn together until spectacular sheets of vibrant coloured, textured and patterned patchwork fabric are created. After being persuaded, pinned and piped in to place to shroud the naked frame, with some blood, sweat and a heathy amount of tears and coupled with twenty painstaking eight hour days totalling one hundred and sixty man hours, we give you…….The one six zero.
